THE ELEVENTH GRADUATE CONFERENCE ON ENVIRONMENT & SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

The Nepal Open University- Institute of Science and Technology is organizing the Eleventh Graduate Conference “Himalayan Knowledge Conclave” on April 5 and 6, 2025 in Kathmandu. Organized every year, the Conference aims to provide with a milieu to young researchers (fresh university graduates) of all disciplines, natural as well as social sciences, sustainable development and other relevant disciplines to present their research findings of master’s dissertation and share their views on environment and development issues of Nepal.

Who Can Participate

GC-HKC is open to all interested young researchers and fresh graduates of various discipline of natural and social sciences and specialized areas related to sustainable development and its three pillars: environmental, economy and social.

Organizing partners: GC-HKC is a common platform of the universities in Nepal. Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu University, Agriculture and Forestry University, Lumbini Buddhist University, Mid-West University and Far Western University have already hosted the conference. It was initiated by TU-IOST Central Department of Environmental Science, Resources Himalaya Foundation (RHF), and Institute for Social and Environment in Transition-Nepal (ISET-N) in 2025.
